Skuvent Privacy Policy
v2.2
Updated and Effective as of June 01, 2026
This Policy describes our data and privacy practices for data collected and processed by Skuvent Inc. (collectively, “Skuvent,” “we”, “us”, “or “our”) through the public portion of any website we offer that posts or provides this policy (collectively, the “Websites”).
By using the Websites, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy.
A special note about data processed by Skuvent’s services: |
|---|
Skuvent’s platform allows a Skuvent customer to collect, distribute, visualize, and otherwise manage its own data. Skuvent processes that data solely pursuant to our contract with that customer, including, where applicable, our HIPAA business associate agreement with our customer, and not pursuant to this Privacy Policy. Thus, for example, where this Privacy Policy indicates that Skuvent may use personal data for Skuvent’s marketing purposes, this does not refer to the data that our customers’ personnel input in the platform. Skuvent does not use that data for marketing purposes. |

3. Your Choices
Email. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails we send you through the opt-out mechanism included in each such email (or by simply replying “Opt out”). Note, however, that we reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to your use of our Websites and services, notices of changes to this Privacy Policy or other terms, or similar administrative and transactional messages.
Choices Regarding Cookies and Other Similar Technologies. Below, we describe various options for adjusting your preferences for our use of various technologies on the Websites in a particular browser.
For most of the cookie preference options described below, your opt-out will be stored as a cookie. That means that you can undo your opt-out by manually clearing the cookies in your browser or by using a browser that automatically clears cookies. Depending on where you are and some other factors, this may reactivate the sorts of cookies that your previous preference had stopped. If you do that and then decide to opt-out again for that browser, you will need to perform the relevant opt-out steps again in that browser.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may be able to adjust your preferences about how certain cookies and certain similar technologies are used on a website by clicking on the Your Privacy Choices link in the relevant website’s footer. You should repeat this process with each browser you use to visit the website.
To learn more about interest-based advertising generally, or to use a different method to opt out of targeted, interest-based ads by some of our current ad service partners, visit aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu from each browser you use.
In addition, you may be able to set your web browser to refuse certain types of cookies, or to alert you when certain types of cookies are being sent. Some browsers offer similar settings for HTML5 local storage. However, if you block or otherwise reject our cookies, local storage, JavaScript, or other technologies, certain websites may not function properly.
If you replace, change, or upgrade your browser, or delete your cookies, or use a browser that automatically clears cookies, you may need to use these opt-out tools again.
Please visit your mobile device manufacturer’s website (or the website for its operating system) for instructions on any additional privacy controls in your mobile operating system, such as privacy settings for device identifiers and geo-location. Please note, however, that we do not respond to browser-based “Do-Not-Track” signals at this time.
4. Security
Skuvent uses various physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to help protect your personal data; however, no data transmission over the Internet, wireless transmission, or electronic storage of data can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Skuvent cannot ensure or warrant the security of any data we collect. You use the Websites and provide us your data at your own risk. The safety and security of your personal data also depend on you. For example, you should safeguard your login credentials and must not share such credentials with others.
5. Third Party Content and Links
The Websites may contain content that is served by someone else or links to third-party content or websites. Skuvent does not control this content or these sites. The third-party operators and content providers use their own cookies or other tracking technologies, and they may independently collect data from or about you. Skuvent is not responsible for the privacy practices employed by any third party.
6. Consent to Transfer
Skuvent is a US-based company. Please be aware that the data we collect will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries. By using the Websites, or providing us with any data, you fully understand and unambiguously consent to this transfer to, and processing, usage, sharing, and storage of your data in the United States and other jurisdictions, for which the privacy laws may not be as comprehensive as those in the country where you reside and/or are a citizen.
7. General Audience Websites
The Websites are general audience and do not target users younger than the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data online directly from children younger than the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and think we have data about your child, please contact us at team@skuvent.com.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we reserve the right to change or modify this Privacy Policy at our discretion at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the changed or modified Privacy Policy on our Websites. We may also provide notice to you in other ways, such as through contact information you have provided. Any changes will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Privacy Policy unless otherwise specified. Your continued use of the Websites after the effective date of the revised Privacy Policy (or such other act as specified in the revised Privacy Policy) will, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, constitute your consent to those changes.
